But as I see it whatever path you choose it takes a greater understanding of your particular thyroid issues to achieve maximum well-being.

It can make such a difference when you feel empowered to make well-informed decisions at every step of the healing journey.

It helps you trust in yourself so you can take action that feels RIGHT FOR YOU.

To quote wise words from Tony Robbins…

Identify your problems, but give your power and energy to solutions.

Are Iodine Supplements For Thyroid Health Really Safe?

There’s an ongoing debate about iodine being good or bad when you have a thyroid problem. If there was one guiding rule I would like everyone to know it’s this…

It’s really about balanced intake, not too much, and not too little.

You see, iodine is normally only required in very small amounts. For this reason iodine supplements generally supply trace, or microgram quantities.

Before you purchase an iodine supplement it’s a good idea to carefully check how much iodine it supplies per serve so you can make an informed choice.

What Are Thyroid Nodules? Can Natural Treatments Shrink Them?

Thyroid nodules often appear as a lump, or some type of abnormal growth in your thyroid.

Thankfully, the majority of thyroid nodules are benign. For this reason, most individuals are advised to take a ‘watch and wait’ approach which includes regular medical check-ups.

The approach is not always ideal as thyroid nodules indicate the thyroid is under some type of substantial stress. From a natural health perspective it’s wise to get proactive with the most appropriate treatment.

Learn How to Calculate Your Reverse T3 Ratio

Ongoing excess peripheral conversion of thyroxine (T4) to reverse T3 (RT3) gives rise to low T3 and excess RT3. Reverse T3 has the opposite effects of T3. Futhermore, RT3 has a similar structure to T3 so it easily locks into the T3 cell receptor. This has a powerful effect on slowing metabolism.

As you can imagine, too much reverse T3 pushes your body into a hypothyroid state. If you have recent blood test results for free T3 and RT3 you can determine the ratio of these two thyroid hormones.

Can Copper Harm Thyroid Health? Here’s What You Need To Know

Copper is often added to multivitamin mineral supplements, joint health formulas, and even some thyroid health products. But have you ever stopped to wonder if copper is necessary, or even risky?

The form of copper found in nutritional supplements is an unbound, inorganic salt of copper. This type of copper can directly enter the bloodstream, bypassing the liver. This contributes to an immediate rise in the ‘free copper’ pool in the blood.

  1. Armour Thyroid – God’s gift to hypothyroid suffers! The moment I heard Hillary Clinton switched to this (from Synthroid) I immediately tried to duplicate her choice. I spent a year looking & looking for an Endocrinologist who’d even consider listening to my desire to make this change. Finally, I found a doctor willing to help me (while watching me closely) and I’ve now been on Armour for a year.

The change is incredible! I was immediately relieved of the terrible brain fog that followed/burdened me since first swallowing Synthroid 21 years ago. Next, to my amazement, the constant hunger left me too; I lost 3 lbs in the first week. My metabolism even sped up a little & I actually felt adventurous again! But the best part, my hair looks and feels like hair again (I also take Shen Min, Evening Primrose, Cod Liver Oil & Biotin capsules daily) and my eyebrows are even growing back! Well, one of them … I am a breast cancer survivor (5 yrs in Oct. 2017) & my radiation treatments were isolated to my left side, which has just a little over a 1/2 eyebrow now 🙂

My dear friends, remember the name Armour Thyroid and find yourselves a whole new, healthier life!

    God Bless All 🙂
